The free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader allows you to view,
navigate, and print
PDF files across all major computing platforms.
Tax Map Images (generated on 3/13/07 current as of 1/1/07) are available for download and online viewing and/or printing.
They are organized into 4 .pdf files consisting of all maps begining with the same first two digits, representing
a quadrant of the county as divided by the NC State Plane Coordinate System. To get a specific map, for example, 4738.05,
you will need to download the entire quadrant (4700s). To download a file without viewing, right-click the file and select
"save target as".
The maps are available at full size (30x36) and reduced size (11x17). The full size images are best for viewing all details,
but can only be printed on a large-format plotter. Due to the reduced scale of the smaller images, some details are not visible,
but they can be printed on a printer capable of ledger size printing. The smaller images are the same as those found in the
SpecPrint books, available commercially.
